Family of Faith (PK-5th Grade Family Formation)
Registration link: https://bit.ly/PCFFReg2022
This program takes on the format of whole family catechesis (child/children and parent). Our goal is to support the domestic church by empowering and supporting parents in handing on our Catholic faith to their children. Parents are the first and primary teachers of their children in the way of faith! Formation for parents/adults is done in English and Spanish. Each month there will be an ”Adult Meeting” to go over the specific plan for each month and to provide parents the necessary knowledge to teach their children. At the end of the month, there is a “Community Meeting” where the parents and their children come together and participate in activities with the other families in our parish.
This is not merely a program to educate children with Catechism memorization, it is a program to help children develop an authentic relationship with God through lived faith experience. It is designed to help children (and parents!) fall in love with our Lord through everyday faith practices.

Youth ministry for our middle and high school teens. This program includes all aspects of effective and engaging youth ministry–formation sessions, service opportunities, as well as spirituality building and social events.
First Penance & Holy Communion Preparation
Children who are in second grade or older and have already been baptized are eligible to prepare for the sacraments of First Penance and First Holy Communion. Sacramental preparation is done separate from and in addition to religious education–either participation in the parish formation program, or by attending Catholic school. Sacramental preparation is a combination of parent led home-study and gathered sessions. For each sacrament (Penance and Holy Communion), parents are asked to attend a parent session that includes formation and where they are given resources to work with their child at home to prepare, at the end of the home-preparation process, parents and children attend a retreat experience.
